Winter Pitha: Sweet, Soft, Milk Cheetah Wet Pitha Recipe
Winters indeed usher in a new joy in Bengali cuisine. One of the most popular winter pitha recipes in particular is Dudh Chitai Pitha. Soft, soft and full of milky goodness, this pita is usually made with fresh milk and rice powder, which is very tasty and delicious to eat.

Materials:
Rice powder – 2 cups
Dark jaggery – 1 cup
Milk – 2 cups
Ghee – 2 tbsp
Oil (for frying)
Coconut Curano (optional)
Cardamom powder – 1/4 tsp
Water – 1 cup
Method of preparation:
Preparing the bowl mix:
First heat a cup of water and add rice powder to it. Mix well so that no lumps are formed. This mixture will continue to thicken.
Milk Preparation:
Heat milk in a pan and add jaggery and cardamom powder to it. When the jaggery melts completely, it will have sweetened condensed milk.
Rice mixture:
When the rice powder mixture becomes thick, slowly add the hot milk and jaggery mixture to it. Then stir for a while and let it thicken.
Making Pitha:
Heat little oil or ghee in a tawa and chop the mixture. It should be made into small round patties and fried in hot oil.
Serving:
Place the fried pitas in a tissue to absorb the excess oil and serve garnished with coconut curano.

Dudh Chitan Wet Pitha is delicious to eat hot. Its taste increases especially in winter. You can add fresh ghee or date juice with it if you want. It will also taste delicious with a cup of hot tea or coffee.
