 Easy recipe to cook Bangladeshi style beef in 20 minutes

Beef recipe is very popular in Bangladesh.  Made with a combination of flavors and spices, this dish adds color to any dining table.  Today we bring you the easy method of cooking Bangladeshi style beef in just 20 minutes.




 Materials


 Beef – 500 grams


 Chopped onions – 2 large


 Garlic paste – 1 tbsp


 Ginger paste – 1 tbsp


 Turmeric powder – 1 tsp


 Chilli powder – 1 tsp


 Coriander powder – 1 tsp


 Garam masala powder – half teaspoon


 Salt – to taste


 Soybean oil – 3 tbsp


 Water – half a cup


 Chillies – 4-5 (optional)


 Coriander leaves – for garnishing


 cooking method


 1.  Preparation:

 Wash the beef well and drain the water.  Prepare onion, ginger and garlic batter.


 2.  Roasting Spices:

 Heat oil in a pan. Fry chopped onion in oil till light brown.  Then add ginger and garlic paste.  Stir for 1-2 minutes.


 3.  Mixing the meat:

 Add the beef to the spices.  Add turmeric, chilli and coriander powder.  Stir for 5 minutes until meat changes color.


 Adding water and salt:

 Add half a cup of water and salt.  If you have a pressure cooker, cover and cook for 10 minutes.  If you don't have a pressure cooker, cook on low heat for 15 minutes.


 5.  Last stage:

 When the meat becomes soft, add green chillies and garam masala powder.  Leave for another 2 minutes.


 6.  Serving:

 Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.  It is very enjoyable with polao, rice or paratha.


 Some tips


 Cut meat into small pieces for faster cooking.


 Using a pressure cooker will save time.


 You can add more or less spices as you like.
