Duck meat recipe

This recipe will help you to cook duck meat tasty and spicy.


Ingredients:


 Duck meat – 1 kg

 Onion – 2 (chopped)

 Tomatoes – 2 (chopped)

 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp

 Cinnamon – 1 piece

 Cardamom – 2

 Bay leaves – 2

 Chilli powder – 1 tbsp

 Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

 Cumin powder – 1 tsp

 Coriander powder – 1 tsp

 Garam masala powder – 1/2 tsp

 Salt – as per taste

 Oil – 3-4 tbsp

 Water – As required

 Coriander – for garnish

Method:


Clean and wash the duck meat well.  Cut into small pieces if needed.

 Heat oil in a large pan.  Add cinnamon, cardamom, bay leaf.  Fry the masalas till the sweet smell comes out.

 Now fry the chopped onions till they turn golden.

 Then add the ginger-garlic batter and fry for a few minutes.

 Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.

 After mixing the spices well, add turmeric powder, chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder.  Stir for a while and keep cooking.

 Add the duck meat to the pan and season well.  Fry for about 5-7 minutes so that the spices mix with the meat.

 Now add water and mix well.  Cover the pan and cook on medium heat for 30-40 minutes, until the duck is cooked.

 After cooking, sprinkle garam masala powder and garnish with coriander leaves.

 Serve with hot rice or parathas.

 Now, your delicious duck meat is ready!
